  • Jay Daugherty

California born, Texas raised, with some west coast vibes and southern hospitality—I grew up with an interest in many sports. I took interest in skateboarding and board sports which became my main hobbies. I always loved the competitive nature of sports. After highschool, trying to find my place in the world, with team sports not as available, I ended up walking into a local gym and immediately fell in love with the weight room. As my passion for fitness grew as well as my knowledge in the gym, I pursued my passion and completed my personal trainers certificate through NASM. I've worked in the fitness industry for almost a decade in numerous positions and gyms. I am currently working with an amazing physical therapy group, and running my own personal training JayBird Fitness! Fitness is not only about looking good, it's about feeling good. Let me help you reach your athletic goals and improve your quality of life through resistance training.
